Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations where DEP conducts operator qualification tests. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, terms and conditions and exam information. Final exams for classes in the evening are scheduled during the regular class times of the final exams.

Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. However it is crucial to note that the exam schedule can be altered at any time. This is why students should consult their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their exam. Students should also print the official list to take to their exam.

In addition to the exam schedule, students should also familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines and the terms and conditions. These can be found on the page for each exam. Students acknowledge they have read and accepted the terms and conditions upon registration.

Exam locations make every effort to accommodate those with special needs. The nature and extent of these needs should be noted on the registration and confirmed by a medical attestation. The locations for the exam must be able to respect confidentiality and keep it.

If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they must contact their instructor or department to schedule a retake test. While it is possible to take three tests in a single day, it could cause an increase in stress levels and impact the quality of the test. Additionally, the professor may not be able to offer a makeup exam on a different day.

Students should review the course material prior to taking the exam and practice their German skills. The exam is a paper-based test that measures your ability to read and write German. The test results are given using a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the test receive a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate documents attainment of the language level A1. This level is the first level of the six-level scale of competency laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The examination is free of cost. Students must bring a valid government issued ID to the test. Those who do not have a valid photo ID are disqualified from the examination.

Fees
